Reiki Training
& Attunement
Reiki Training workshops are held periodically in a small group setting with Heather Garcia, a Usui Reiki Master.
Please see the descriptions and information below for each level of Reiki training (Level 1, Level 2, and Reiki Master).
Attunements are rituals that awaken the Reiki energy within you. This will give you the ability to connect with and channel the energy to yourself and others. These are done in the training workshop; however, each student receives attunement(s) individually.

No prerequisite – everyone is welcome
In this training you will learn about the history of Reiki, receive individual attunements to healing Reiki energy, and learn hand positions for self-treatment and giving healing Reiki energy to others. You will also have the opportunity to practice Reiki hands-on during the training. You will receive a comprehensive manual, and ongoing support. You will leave the training as a certified Level 1 practitioner with all you need to begin to practice Reiki on yourself and others.

Prerequisite – Previous attunement to Level 1 by a Usui Reiki Master & recommended 4-6 months of practice on yourself and others.
In Level 2 training you will dive more deeply into your practice and understanding of Reiki, receiving three of the Reiki symbols. You will learn techniques for distance healing and spatial healing, as well as discuss the “business of Reiki” receiving tips and tricks on how to start the transition from Reiki practice to Reiki professional. The Reiki 2 attunement allows you to open to deeper mental, emotional and spiritual healing. You will receive a comprehensive manual and experience hands-on practice and ongoing support.

In Reiki Master training you will dive even deeper into your personal practice and relationship with Reiki energy. You will receive the fourth symbol used in Usui Reiki – the Master Symbol – as well as a Master attunement. You will also be taught the steps to give Reiki 1, Reiki 2 and Reiki Master attunements and the curriculum to teach all three levels. We will spend time practicing attunements so that you are prepared to teach others. We will also talk about chakra balancing and methods to protect yourself from taking on energy and emotions that are not yours. You will receive a comprehensive manual and experience hands-on practice and ongoing support.
